No purchase or payment is necessary to participate or win. Purchasing does not affect your points, ranking, or prizes — prizes are determined solely by points earned through participation. Void where prohibited by law.

Open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence) at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Booth Buzz and their immediate family members are not eligible.

Participants must provide a valid first name, last name, email address, and phone number to complete their profile and become eligible to win prizes. Jurisdictional restrictions may apply.

Attendees participate by visiting participating exhibitor booths at the conference. A check-in is recorded when an exhibitor scans the attendee's unique QR code. Each check-in earns points toward the final prize ranking. Maximum one check-in per exhibitor booth per attendee.

Only attendees are eligible to win Leaderboard prizes.

Prizes are paid from the event's prize pool. Booth Buzz retains a platform fee and an operating fee from the amounts it collects; the remaining prize pool is split into two equal parts: 50% funds the Leaderboard prizes and 50% funds the guaranteed Milestone prizes.

Leaderboard prizes are awarded to the top finishers ranked by the points they earn, paid out along a fixed decay curve (each lower place receives a smaller, predetermined share, and every winner receives at least $15). The number of Leaderboard winners scales with the number of attendees (approximately the top 10%).

Milestone prizes are guaranteed payouts triggered by event-wide check-in counts: the first check-in, and then every 100th check-in, each award an equal share of the Milestone pool. Which attendee records a given Milestone check-in is determined by the timing of that check-in.

Winners receive their prizes via Stripe Connect. Funds are held indefinitely until the winner completes Stripe Connect onboarding. Booth Buzz absorbs all Stripe processing fees, so winners receive the full stated amount.

Winner selection is deterministic, with no element of chance. Each booth check-in earns points; the more booths an attendee checks in at, the more points they earn. Leaderboard winners are the attendees with the most points, in descending order, up to the projected winner count for the event.

Attendees tied at the cut-off all win and share that place equally. Milestone prizes are separate and guaranteed: recording a trigger check-in (the first, then every 100th event-wide) awards a Milestone prize regardless of an attendee's points standing.

This promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participants are responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Prizes are subject to all applicable taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the winners.

Booth Buzz collects the following personal information: first name, last name, email address, and phone number. This data is used solely for event participation, prize eligibility, winner notification, and prize distribution.

Event notifications are delivered in the app and by email; non-transactional emails are sent only with explicit opt-in consent. SMS is used solely to deliver sign-in verification codes. Participants may contact Booth Buzz to request deletion of their personal data after the event concludes.
